Apply the Law of Attraction Using Inspirational Quotes

I don’t know about you, but every now and then I need a little extra inspiration to keep moving forward and maintain my focus on all things positive. I find that reading through uplifting quotes is a wonderful way to re-energize. When I read the wise words of other law of attraction believers I always gain insight and new perspectives on challenges I am facing, actions I am contemplating, or clarity in identifying those things that are most important to me to enjoy a full and happy life.

I thought I would share some quotes that I find useful in helping me apply the Law of Attraction in my daily life. Use these as a starting place to fuel your own positivity. They are excellent to read, absorb, and even use as affirmations. If you find one that doesn’t feel good as you read it, skip it for now—it may not resonate with you now, and yet be perfectly aligned with what you want the next time you contemplate the list.

Universal Law of Attraction: Use the T-Tool to Clarify What You Want

Some days it is difficult to feel bright and chipper. In fact, sometimes that feeling of hopelessness sticks with us for long periods of time.  If you find yourself getting stuck in negative thoughts, a good place to begin is to review all of the things that are currently being attracted to you. Are they negative or positive things?

The Universal Law of Attraction is always working, so chances are if you are feeling hopeless, you are allowing negative thoughts into your mind.   The T-tool can be a very useful tool to help you work through your experiences and determine what you don’t want in your life, and more importantly, the things you do want in your life.

The T-tool is really just a comparison, or positive/negative inventory of your experiences.  All you need is a piece of paper and a pencil or pen.   Take the paper and draw a line down the middle. Near the top of the page, draw a line across the paper--hence the letter “T”.

In the top left box put “things I don’t want” and in the top right box “things I do want.”  In the left column under the top box, list out all the things you are attracting into your life that are making you unhappy, or that you do not want.

After you complete that column it is time to begin thinking about each thing or event you have written down. Now think about what you do want in your life.  If you can’t put what you want into words, then think about what you don’t want. Ask yourself, what is the opposite of that? What opposite thing or event would bring you joy and happiness?  Write down that thing that you do want in the right hand column of the paper, opposite the thing you do not want.

The T-tool is a great way to clarify the things that make us feel uncomfortable or cause us resistance. This tool also helps to magnify, or clarify the things that we really want in life that will make us feel good.

Doing it once is rarely enough. This exercise should be repeated often because what we earnestly want can change as we continue to learn more about ourselves, our thoughts, and our feelings.

As we get better at listening to our internal guidance system, we begin to notice more things in our lives that make us happy, or, we may start to have greater insight into things we think make us feel happy but actually do not.  The T-tool helps you take inventory of what is happening in your life now, and helps you focus in on what you want to happen in the future.

The Universal Law of Attraction and Dreaming

According to the law of attraction, what we attract from the universe is whatever we are emitting as a vibration by how we are feeling. Our dreams and visions use symbols and literal images to provide us one more way to understand those things we are focusing on.

What about premonitions?  Not everything we see in dreams or premonitions feel good or positive. Some are frightening or scary.

Our subconscious mind is connected to the universal energy source.

We continually learn ways of translating the information we receive from this universal energy source so that we can understand, apply and use it.

However, when we receive this type of information energy and knowledge, we filter it with our own fears and ideas about what it means.

When we rely on our internal guidance system, we choose things that feel good. When we try to interpret our dreams or visions, we need to filter the information through love. When we filter information based on fear, we are focusing on the negative elements of the dream, giving energy to the very things we do not want.

Sometimes negative dreams help us recognize that we are actually thinking about the lack of something rather than focusing on the things we really want. When we filter information through love, our dreams and visions give us encouragement and peace.

It often strengthens relationships with others.  Choose to interpret your dreams and visions in the most positive, life-giving way so that they feel good to you.

Here are some tips for how to use your dreams to create the reality you want for your life.
  1. Start a Dream Journal. Record all you can remember about each dream you have, especially regarding the things you want. Note how the dream made you feel.

If thinking about what you want in the dream feels good, then the chances are high that you are focusing on your true wants and desires. If your dream feels bad and causes you concern, you should follow your IGS.

Take it as a sign that you may be focusing on the wrong things or the lack of something, rather than what you truly want.

  2. Be grateful for the guidance you receive from your dreams. Welcome the knowledge you gain from interpreting your dream through love.
  3.
  4. Ask for a happy dream about what you desire as you are preparing to sleep. Do this every night. It often helps to stimulate a helpful dream, or a dream that provides guidance.

  5. Take what you learn from recording and analyzing your dreams to create the reality you want. Focus on the feelings your dreams produce in you and use those feelings to help you focus in on what you really want.

The Universal Law of Attraction and Prayer

Prayer is associated with religious belief, but prayer is truly the response one makes in expressing the feeling of one’s deepest desires. Anyone can pray and it doesn’t matter if you attend church every day or you have never even taken a step inside one.

When one talks about faith, one speaks about faith not necessarily in religious terms, but as the degree or extent to which you believe in what you want right at that moment, and the belief that it is coming to you.

Prayer is also a form of meditation. Mantras are commonly used as a way to focus and meditate, and a mantra can certainly be a prayer as simple as “I pray for peace and love,” or “I want peace and love.”

Prayer focuses one’s thoughts on the things one most wants. It is a conversation with a higher power and if you are not religious, that higher power is you, expanded. It is a conversation between your conscious mind, and your higher self, or that part of you containing all the wisdom.

Prayer leads one to “oneness,” or unity with the universe.

When you become aware and pray or meditate with intention, you focus your feelings and thoughts on the things you are grateful for or want. You exponentially increase the power of those thoughts. Prayer generally encompasses basic principles of faith, gratitude and charity-giving, or thinking about others.

These are the foundational principles that nurture the proper mindset to attract the things you want into your life.  When you pray or when you meditate, you do so from a mindset of love. This helps you attract outcomes of love back to you. If you pray out of fear, anger, need, or frustration, you will attract back more of the same.

It is important to pray, or meditate in alignment with what you really want. Recognize what mindset your intentions are coming from and you will be able to manifest what you want successfully. Feelings and thoughts can be subconscious and automatic, or controlled and directed. The power of prayer depends on the faith of the individual.

When you believe strongly, the feelings you express in prayer are able to overcome obstacles.  It is the omnipotent knowing of faith that opens up the energy to creatively visualize what you want. Prayer also focuses on gratitude for what you have in the present as well as for the things that are to come.  This is the same principle you use to apply the law of attraction.

Prayer and faith are great gifts and tools. Those who have great faith regardless of what it’s placed in and believe in said faith, can use prayer as a powerful tool to harness the creative energy of the universe and create their own desired reality.

Love Thyself: The Universal Law of Attraction

The law of attraction is based on positive thoughts and intentions but it is difficult, if not impossible to find or manifest the things you really want if you do not love and respect yourself because negative emotion will be present.  Learning to accept yourself as you are and to be grateful for who you are the first steps towards taking control of your thoughts and finding the positives in everything.

How can we learn to love ourselves unconditionally?  The first step is to be grateful for who you are right now.

Being grateful for who you are is the start to being able to accept your strengths and weaknesses and see them as part of the completely wonderful, lovable person you are.

The next step is to recognize that happiness does not come from anyone or anything outside of you because you know and accept that you are already a successful, happy person.  No one can take away your happiness or the love you have for yourself. This frees you from worry, doubt and fear because no matter what happens, at the end of each day you love yourself unconditionally.

When you get to the point of being able to love yourself, your relationships will begin to transform. You will not need to be in a relationship to find love because you already have all you need within yourself. Instead, you will begin giving away love to people without needing or expecting anything in return.

Conflicts will fade away because you have the confidence to not only accept yourself but to accept your partner and friends for who they are.  You begin to manifest the type of relationships you have always wanted.

When you love yourself, it is easier to find the positive in others and in situations. It will help you stay focused on the positive outcomes you want for your life and you will find gratitude easier to practice as well.  It will be easier to spend more time reflecting, meditating, and visualizing because you are already in a happy place.

Consider doing nice things that you would do for others for yourself.  Treat yourself with the same love and respect you show to others.  Daily affirmations are another good way to remind yourself of everything you love about who you are and those things that you accept about yourself.  Learning to love yourself is the foundation for finding true happiness, joy and peace.
