An Unlimited Universe

According to the Universal Law of Attraction the power to create our own reality is unlimited.  The universe is limitless, an invisible energy force which, because we are all connected by pure energy to everything else in the universe, means that our power to manifest our own reality is also unlimited.

The Universal Law of Attraction is based on the concept that like energy attracts like energy and that everything, including our thoughts are composed of energy.  Simply stated, we create what we think, or if we think positive thoughts we attract positive things into our lives, and if we think negative thoughts, we attract negative things into our life.

This law is always at work in our lives whether we are conscious of it or not.

If we truly believe the universe is unlimited, our thoughts are also unlimited. The problem is, although the potential of our thoughts is unlimited we often limit our own thinking.

People are naturally influenced and affected by the people around them. If we think about a typical day, we turn on the news and rarely hear anything positive. Bad news seems to sell.

We may find it hard to be truly happy for other people’s successes, and it is easy for most of us to nag, criticize, and say negative things about others.

We get caught up in negativity; hence, we limit the ability of our thoughts to become powerful because we doubt that things can really happen the way we want them to.  We evaluate our future success based on current situations.

The Universal Law of Attraction teaches that the universe is an ocean of possibilities without limits. You need only ask with great intention and focus on the things you want to attract into your life, and believe without doubt the ability of the universe to deliver whatever that is into your life.

Sounds too simple?

In a way, it is. It takes work to learn how to intentionally choose and focus your thoughts to harness the power of your thoughts to manifest the things you want in life.

The good news is that there are tools and techniques that you can use to become more fully conscious of how the Universal Law of Attraction is at work in your life, and how to harness the power of positive thinking to attract into your life the things you truly want to attract from a limitless universe of possibilities.

The Universal Law of Attraction: The Power to Be Happy

The Universal Law of Attraction is based on a simple premise that like energy attracts like energy.  Most people really do want to be happy. It's not much fun to go through life depressed and angry all the time, but humans have a way of undermining their efforts to be happy.

If you are thinking about being happy, happiness is rooted in love. Maybe it is the love of another person, of having a lot of money, of being financially secure, of owning the house you have always dreamed about, of having more free time to travel, and of enjoying each day.  It is that ability to dream or visualize that makes us happy and that can truly unleash the power of our thoughts to manifest what we really want.

The problem is that even when we focus and think about the things that make us really happy, we usually get caught in a trap—the trap of negative associations. If you are thinking about your dream home for example, most of the time that a positive image is followed by a, “… but I’ll never be able to afford it!” There it is—the negative thought crept right in.

Often times we are focusing on the right things and thinking positive thoughts but our thoughts are not 100% positive. That nagging little doubt or negative thought creeps right into the midst of our positive thinking. Why does this happen?  Humans tend to measure our future success against our current situation; that is how the negativity creeps up on us.

The Universal Law of Attraction helps you learn to focus on your personal thought patterns and feelings about happiness and then teaches you ways to control your thoughts so you can move beyond comparing what you want, with what you have. You learn to stop choosing to focus on the nagging negative thoughts that lurk in your mind, and instead focus on those things that will make you truly happy.

Being happy demands a different way of thinking productively. Focus on things that make you feel happier and try to hold that feeling for as long as you can. It isn’t easy, especially in the beginning, because we are so engrained in thinking about everything through the filter of our current situation.

Be grateful for the moments you can feel and hold onto that happiness. As you practice more and more, it becomes easier to really focus on the things that make you feel genuinely happy.  When you are able to do that, your energy frequency changes, and you begin to manifest the things you really want in your life.

Ways to Point the Universal Law of Attraction to Your Goals for Life

The Universal Law of Attraction can be applied to any area of life.  Who can’t benefit from positive thinking, after all?   But have you really thought about the powerful ways that your thoughts can influence your life?

The Universal Law of Attraction holds that when we focus on positive thinking and the things we really want, we attract a like energy into our lives creating the reality we creatively visualize or create.

The Universal Law of Attraction can be applied to love. Focusing on loving others and inviting that same energy back into your life through meditation, intent and creative visualization can open up new relationships, heal old relationships and bring unconditional love into your life.

Of course you need to be very clear in your intentions. Inviting unconditional love into your life may not be the same thing as inviting romantic love into your life. Stepping back and really examining what it is we truly want in our lives is the first step to harnessing the power of this law and utilizing it to transform the current state of your daily reality.

Perhaps you have children.  The Universal Law of Attraction can be applied to child rearing. Positive thoughts and actions attract similar energy and behavior from your children. If there is great discord in your home examine why? How do you speak to your children, how do you interact with your children? What is your relationship with your spouse? Use creative visualization and meditation to see your family as you would like them to be.  Speak and act with the same energy you want back from your children.

If you are looking to change careers or you want to take on more responsibility and a leadership role, focus with intent on your career goals. Think about where you want to be in five years. What does your position look like? What duties are you responsible for? How does the career or job role feel and look?  Focus on developing that positive energy and apply it to your current job regardless or whether you like it or not. Treat it like it is the perfect job for you and the chances are, changes will begin to happen. You will start attracting opportunities that fit with your ultimate vision.

In the same way as the above examples, you can apply The Universal Law of Attraction to finances, relationships, happiness, and success, even your physical well being .  If you can dream it, and visualize it, you can create it. There is no area of your life where The Universal Law of Attraction doesn’t work, and that is the beauty of this law.

The Universal Law of Attraction and Parenting

Many parents struggle with their children to get them to listen, make good decisions or take on responsibilities appropriate for their age.  Learning, understanding and utilizing the Universal Law of Attraction can help parents create a happier home filled with respect and peace.

Identifying the Causes of Struggle

According to the Universal Law of Attraction like energy attracts like energy. This means that the people around us are constantly responding to, and reflecting back, the energy we give out through our actions, thoughts, and feelings. Children mirror back to us exactly what is going in inside of us.

If your children are out of control and constantly fighting with you and with each other, one of the first things you should do to begin parenting using the Universal Law of Attraction is look at yourself. Understand how you, your spouse and your relationship with one another are affecting your children’s behavior. You can use some of the following questions to help clarify the things that may be affecting behavior:

  • Are your children responding to stress? Are you stressed? Is your spouse stressed? Is your relationship stressed?
  • Are your children acting out because they do not get enough quality one on one time with you and your spouse?
  • Are your kids refusing to interact with you? If so, why? Are you fun to be around or a bore?  Do you make time for your kids or push them away when they try to interact with you?
  • Are you or your spouse angry all the time? Are your children mirroring that anger?
  • Are you or your spouse physical with one another or with your children?  Are your children physically aggressive or violent?

It may not take long to start seeing why your children behave as they do. Once you have a better understanding of how you are affecting your children you can begin to work on yourself and consequently help your children to change their behaviors.

One of the keys to parenting using the Universal Law of Attraction is to understand that you are constantly modeling behaviors for your children every minute of the day and night. Since like energy attracts like energy, the energy you emit affects the energy your children mirror back to you. Another way to say this is, if you constantly yell at your children, physically push them around or speak to them disrespectfully you are teaching them to respond to you in exactly the same way.

The Universal Law of Attraction focuses on helping you to stay in a place of happiness and joy so are not frustrated or angry. When you learn to control those inner thoughts you can manifest a positive energy that your children will observe, feel and model back to you. So, if you can step back, take a breath, and speak to your children with respect in a calm, loving manner your children will respond in the same way.

Parents are the mirror of a child’s self-esteem. When you master the Universal Law of Attraction, you will understand the power of words to build up your own and your children’s self-esteem. When you learn to live in that place of joy and happiness, you will begin using words to encourage and lift up the worth of every member in your family. Positive mirroring will allow your children to believe in their own self worth and their abilities so that they can follow their passions and live a truly successful and fulfilling life.

The Universal Law of Attraction” helps you to focus on how to nurture self-respect in your children by letting them know how valuable they are for who they are and who they can become instead of what they are or what they do right now. You will be able to celebrate the natural gifts they possess that make them unique, and demonstrate how grateful you are for who they are, and the joy they bring you.

Discipline is an important part of teaching respect and how to do things better in the future. It is not about focusing on the negative behavior but rather, correcting the issue. For discipline to really help a child make better decisions in the future it must be implemented with respect.  The discipline should focus on the solution-and how to handle the situation better the next time. Consequences should be directly tied to the behavior being corrected.

Using principles and tools of the Universal Law of Attraction you will begin focusing on the positives, be it words, actions, or feelings, and create an environment of positive energy that attracts a matching positive energy from your children. The struggles will be replaced with higher quality interactions, more respect and more cooperation for a happier life together.
